Rosy Fringe was created from the meeting of classical Chinese elegance and contemporary refinement.

The outer frame features delicate openwork metal in traditional ruyi and auspicious cloud motifs, bringing a touch of modern jewellery design to the piece. At its centre is a piece of pink Song brocade, a traditional Chinese silk textile celebrated for its intricate patterns and exquisite craftsmanship.

The contrast between the strength of the metal and the softness of the brocade creates a beautiful visual balance. Below, crystal beads and pearls in graduating shades of purple, pink and white form flowing tassels. Rather than bold, vivid colours, the design embraces the understated elegance and gentle charm of traditional Chinese aesthetics.

# Care Guide – Brocade Ornament ## A. Wearing & Handling **1. Avoid Snagging and Scratches** Although Song brocade is more abrasion-resistant than ordinary silk, it can still be damaged by sharp or rough objects. When attaching the ornament to a bag or garment, keep it away from zippers, Velcro and rough metal clasps to prevent the threads from snagging. **2. Prevent Tassel Tangling** The crystal and faux pearl tassels can easily become tangled. Should this happen, never pull them apart by force. Instead, carefully loosen the knots using a straight pin or a fine needle. **3. Avoid Pulling the Connections** The tassels are attached to the main ornament with small metal open jump rings. Always hold the top ring when picking up or handling the piece. Do not pull directly on the tassels or the Song brocade section, as this may cause the connecting rings to deform or come loose. **4. Avoid Impact and Pressure** Faux crystals and pearls may crack or lose their surface coating if subjected to strong impact. The openwork metal frame may also become misshapen if compressed by heavy objects. ## B. Cleaning **1. Dust Removal** Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dust from the fabric and small crevices. **2. Cleaning the Metal Parts** If fingerprints appear on the metal, gently wipe the surface with a dry, soft cotton cloth. Never use a silver polishing cloth, as its abrasive compounds may wear away the electroplated finish. **3. Cleaning the Tassels** If the tassels become stained, clean only the affected area. Lightly dampen a cotton swab with a small amount of clean water, squeeze out excess moisture, and gently dab the stain. Dry the area immediately using a hair dryer on the cool setting. ## C. Keep it separate from keys and hard jewellery to avoid scratches or damage. Make sure the tassels are neatly straightened before storing to prevent tangling. **2.
